Thanks to fellow Knucklehead laneline, I finally have a Bongo 5HH! My son signed for it at the house, I'm dying to leave work so I can go play it. Never played a Bongo, this should be fun. I'll try to get some normal pics later. For now, TPB goodness...

Oh man, this thing is prettier in person than those photos. It feels amazing. I don't have my amp handy, but I can tell it sounds great. Woot!

I find that my PDN Honeyburst is the lightest and loudest unplugged Axis I have. The body just resonates and projects the sound so well. More so than it's normal Axis sublings.

Anybody else notice this, too?

Definitely looks good, no doubt. So my question is, why are these so scarce? I'm not saying the other colors are ugly, but they are definitely closer to ugly.

EBMM makes limited runs. It's cool. The Bongo look took me a while, but I'll tell you, it's a dream to play.

One more pic I grabbed outdoors the other day. Damn I love this bass!

Pretty nice, nurnay.

How do you like the feel of that roasted neck?

Love it. My roasted Big Al had the gloss finish, which I didn't like quite as well as this (this one is gloss on the headstock, but oiled on the neck, so it's smooth).
