Why No Sterling Guitars in Asia?

Most of the sterling guitars are made in Indonesia like the Sub Series Silo3, AX3. I am dying to get one of these and would love to play them! If they are made in Indonesia why do they take it only to USA and sell it? Why can't they sell in India? To order from US I have to spend more than twice the price!

Things just aren't that simple in the real world. I'm not speaking for EBMM, but just because a product is made in proximity to the nearby public doesn't mean anything at all. Policy along with many other factors play a part in the business world.

It's kinda funny, like saying an employee who builds a Ferrari should be able to afford one. However, be creative, if there's a will, there certainly is a way.

i feel you ayushextreme...IMO its a frustrating matter that we(in asia) will spend twice the price(bought in USA)....even if its made nearby....

If customs is not that bad in your country like India (High taxes and stealing), try ordering from ebay.com man! But 100$ shipping will make it costly

its the same here ,there are corruption in others but its lessen because of the new administration....

but it is cool if its possible for us in asia to buy SBMM guitars in our country....cross fingers...

You can ask anyone in USA to buy it for you and bring it with them in flight, Or you can buy from USA through ebay.com and ask the seller to ship via DHL, they have some custom clearance service, you have to pay more for that. Which SBMM guitar are you trying to buy? I am looking for a SUB series guitar
