This bass is BAAAAAADDDD! It is the most comfortable bass I have ever played. It is a HUGE 6 string bass with very comfy spacing and I barely even know I have it on when I am playing it. I have 4 octaves of seemingly unimpeded access (I can reach any note from one end of the fingerboard to the other effortlessly). The HS is a fantastic setup..... both pickups are totally capable to be run stand alone without loosing any bottom or any of the tonal spectrum. That is not always the case in many two pickup basses. Finally....the wide tonal pallet of usable tones is really impressive. I am fortunate to have quite a few great basses right now and am playing in a few different bands with different vibes. I could easily use this bass as my only bass. I love the Bongo 6 HS!

Will post pics from my gig tomorrow night.

No delete necessary. I will however use my star trek powers and beam you back to the surface of planet groove. I'll even leave a re-direct from the guitar side. It'll be a like a wormhole between the two universes.

And hurry up with those photos. Your huge-stringed guitar doesn't exist without pictures! ;)

And I got to practice my moderator ninja thread merging skills too. Thanks!

I totally love my Bongo 6 H. It sounds so good with flats on it that guitar players get confused. LOL

Welcome to the Bongo 6 club! Don't gig with mine often, but my guitar player always turns red faced when I do bring it to a gig. He hates anything with more than 4 strings. :)

Love the Bongo 6.... fantastic conversion to a six by EBMM.... but I am a SR5 guy through and through. Selling it to fund a 90's SR5 H. Nothing wrong with the Bongo at all. Gas is just in full on rage. Been moving a couple basses a week for a few weeks now.

Sounds like Scott to me. :D

I really, really, really want to own a Bongo 6 one day. But, I don't realistically know how long it'd last based on how long I leave basses tuned EADGC or kept any of the 6 strings I've owned in the past. But, I know I'll buy one at some point.
