Actually, I think that it is somewhat similar to a Les Paul. Which, as I am sure everyone is aware of, can be well appreciated in some circles and in others it may take a little warming up to.

Keep in mind though - it IS a EBMM neck!!!!!

The thickness is similar to the the Dark Lord. The fact that its a shorter scale (as Pete mentioned) and that its neck through give it a different feel.

Played one at GC in Houston tonight. Very cool guitar. VERY beefy neck and very similar to a Les Paul. Bigger than the Dark Lord neck. First thing you notice is how amazingly light the guitar is. Much lighter than the Dark Lord (there was one there to compare it to).

When you plug it in (put it thru a Mark V) you notice that it has the biggest sound I've ever heard out of a Music Man. The sound is monstrous. Much thicker than anything else they had in there (including their Les Pauls and PRS).

Very cool guitar and a total Les Paul killer - everything Gibson wishes they could do!
