While some of us are very anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Emerald Green Sparkle guitars and others anxiously wait for what’s next in the Select Sparkle Series, I thought I’d speculate about what may be coming. Since the first of the series was Emerald Green for only the month of May, which happens to be that month’s birthstone, could the next color also be a birthstone? Nothing was announced for June but July could be Ruby Red and September could be Sapphire Blue. Does anyone else have a guess or a wish?

I think a hot-rod silver sparkle with orange and purple sparkle flames would be a killer package.

Good thing I don't make the decisions over there!

I'll be interested in seeing what they offer for the next sparkle color.

That was a special run for the japanese distributor with gold hardware and the colour was named envy green, if memory seves me right. But it wasn't a sparkle colour. Very classy look...

It could be an envy green Luke, but I don't think Luke used that one on the FIB DVD.

Maybe the famous Dargie Delight Luke?

No, that's his Dargie Delight Luke in the FiB DVD (chrome hardware, martini glass inlays?). The Envy Green model with the gold hardware saw some action around the time of the recording of FiB album. It's in one of the promo shots.

Jep, that's right. I got it mixed up because I had the promo shots from the FIB booklet in mind.
However, both do not have sparkles.

Ah, yeah..I just took a closer look at the DVD and compared it..yep it's a Dargie Delight for sure. All the green Lukes are amazing.
