Its neck has an bullet truss rod, maybe one of the last, before EB switched to truss rod wheel?

029784 - DOB: 11/28/89, black finish, poplar body, maple neck/ rosewood fretboard.This was built right around the period when we started phasing out the bullet truss rod adjuster.

Serial Number 8027632

Natural Stingray 2 eq - 80s ?

The "8" will be a "B" and should be around c.1988. "B" serials were not recorded. You should find a date written with a black marker pen underneath the crescent moon controll plate. That will be the preamp date but puts you in the ball park. Dates are also found on the neck heel and neck pocket on the body.
