Nice Morse collection !

Morses are the best IMHO...

Along with the 25, that is.

They´re the axes that get more playing time...

Now the LUKE is actually for sale. The V shaped neck is not really my cup of tea, and I´ll see if I replace it with another one. Wanna try the Albert Lee and the Axis...

Will see what happens :D

how would you compare the DL against the regular Y2D hardtail you own?
i mean soundwise, do you notice a difference, and if so, what are the differences.
don´t tell me, i have to know it ;) i just wanna know if you have the same experiences.

I´d say there is a difference, specially in the "sustain" area. I guess the fatter neck and different scale, plus the roasted maple gives it a little more "edge".

It sounds definitely more like a Les Paul (which makes logic since it was custom built for JB), while the regular Y2D keeps a more "hard rocking" edge, with a bit less sustain, but tons of power...

shorter scale? don't think so, just the les paul neck profil, but 25.5 scale, i guess.
more lp style sound, that are my thouhgts as well. more body to the tone i would say, right?

I get the impression that the neck is longer than the regular Y2D...

And yes, I agree that there is more body, like the "growl" of the guitar is heavier...

I see you don't like JPs! :)

They're great, but not my cup of tea...I preffer fatter necks, the JP is too "shreddy" and thin for my taste :)

LOVE that Silhouette. Let me know if you ever decide to move it.

It is a special one indeed...a lucky shot, and the same one which is advertised in GC platinum (serial # is my guitar)...that one was a request from my wife while in GC NY. She thought it looked awesome (I was searching for an Axis) and, to please her, I played it and fell in love. Never thought it was a special run so it was a kller plus afterwords :)

That is one helluva family pic! Unreal PDN Morse you have there.

BTW, in the picture, the Darklord gives the illusion of a pointy bottom at the lower strap button :) looks pretty cool.

You're right! Kind of an explorer edge :)

The DL looks awesome in any situation :p
