After a long wait, finally it has arrived. Digging the tone of this guitar. Piezo sound's amazing thru my crappy powered monitors haha.

I still haven't tested the amp thru my mesa boogie mark IVa, still waiting for my power tubes but plugging it in my dean markley 30watt amp sounds killer!

BTW, does anyone know the factory settings of the PiEZO eq? Mine seems to distort when turning the treble of piezo eq to 10. Bass does not distort even if I set it to 10. Is this normal?

Thanks

Check the battery on the piezo or replace, also make sure you are not blending and go direct to Piezo to rule out as well. Mags at times if they are hot will distort a clean signal.....

And.....Congrats!!!!

Congrats on the nice guitar. I had some ibbys, after I got my EBMMs I never seem to play them anymore!

I'm notsure what the factory settings are. I did put a blob of snowpake (Tippex) on my Albert Lee to denote the factory settings - I'll check when I get home to see if the marks are still there. Incidentally, the three controls on the preamp have a small de dent when you turn them which provides the "12 o clock" settings.

I'll report back tonight.

I tried taking a photo but not much good. So if you use a very small screwdriver on each of the pre amp controls, you can feel the dedent. (You won't feel it using a large screwdriver) All 3 of my controls were set at 9 o'clock

Thanks spuds.

I think my crappy powered monitor is distorting when turning up the treble.

And btw, is there a way to tighten the tremelo bar?

Thanks guys ^_^

Yes there is.
If you press the trem bar down hard so the strings are at their slackest, then peer underneath the trem block that is now visible, you will see an allen screw.
Tightening that will make the arm swing less.
