Hello guys !
So... first post as an EBMM owner !
Long story short, I ordered a JP6 BFR Cherry Burst a few weeks after I joined the forum, on March 5th, and today is THE day ! I just picked it up at the shop, exactly 6 months after the order (I think it's a sign
). The wait was pretty tough, especially last week... but as you already know, it was really worth the wait !!
About the guitar now : I'm very very impressed by pretty much everything about it. It's a totally different world (in a good way) from the Telecaster I have. It looks badass and plays incredibly well. It also already sounds huge on my small bedroom amp. I'm really looking forward to playing full volume at my next band rehearsal !!
Anyway, I think some pictures of the beauty will talk for themselves so ... here you go !!!
PS : my camera died a few weeks ago so I could only have bad quality cell phone pictures... sorry !
As soon as I buy a proper camera, justice will be done !!
Anyway, I also have a question for you guys. I discovered while playing that my volume knob was "dancing" around so I decided to tighten it up. I looked online and saw the "how do I remove the knobs" topic on the MM FAQ. It helped a lot but I couldn't remove the grommet without tearing it apart (even with extreme carefulness...). So now, the knob seems tight enough but I don't have the grommet anymore (and I feel really sad that I broke something only 2 hours after unboxing it...
) :
Do you know if there's a way to get one (I'm in France btw) ??
Any help on that would be welcome (otherwise I'll ask customer service).
Cheers,
Sylvain.
