Hi,

I just purchased a Reflex and think I found a great guitar for myself tonally and the feel of the neck. Although the strings are a little high and tight going towards the bridge making a little difficult to move during solo's. They are as low as they can be with a slight buzz on the low E near the headstock. Is this a normal setup for the Reflex (due to the jumbo frets)? Can it be fixed possibly by shaving the frets near the headstock or just an overall setup issue. I've been playing strats til now.

Thanks

hard to tell. Is your guitar new? in that case that might just be a little truss rod adjustment.

I had similar issue with mine and I just used a neck shim (in my case a small piece of business card) cause it was what was needed in my case.

if you don't know anything about guitar setup, take it to a good tech, cause it might be as well just a little saddles adjustment

Thanks for the info! It's brand new, bought from a major reseller store. I fell in love with it when i picked it up. The more I started playing it just seemed a little unbalanced near the bottom of the neck when at home. I'll try to adjust it or send it to a good tech. I believe I found a guitar for life, I wish I would of found Music Mann guitars long ago.

Try to adjust the truss rod per the above video. If you bought it "new" from an authorized dealer, it should be under warranty. I would ask them to perform a "setup". The Reflex is a diverse machine. It can do all!!! Enjoy it.
