My new Axis is certainly the best guitar I have played so far and I've owned a few. Thanks to Jerry who I bought it off as the 3rd proud owner.

I think it's better than my EVH but then I guess it should be as it's basically the same axe only refined.

The guitar you have is a bit of a rarity. It is a hardtail EVH model in translucent Purple completed on July 22nd, 1994.

Oh very cool! I think some modifications must have been done to it at some point because, from the older pictures I've found, it looks more like a Silhouette body, has a Floyd Rose setup, and is an off-white instead of translucent purple. Thanks for looking this up for me.

We had a few instances where older Silhouette serial numbers were reused on EVH guitars. The EVH serial numbers came later and override (in our database) the Silhouette serial numbers.

Your guitar was completed on September 4th, 2009. It is a limited edition Dargie Delight 2. We do not release production numbers.
