So, back in November I ordered a Reflex 5H, rosewood neck and top w/brown back. I just got a reply from Pete Dubaldo, and the lovely folks at Music Man say it's gonna be at least three weeks, but they hope to have it painted this week. I cannot wait. Who else is waiting for a rosewood necked beautyand what did you order?

I ordered a candy apple red Bongo 4 H. I'm going to then put my abalone pickguard on it from my last candy apple red Bongo that I sold to get this one. It is going to be one killer looking bass.

Has anyone heard anything about their orders? My Stingray is supposed to be ready soon.

I'm hearing that mine will be in sometime in March. My birthday is also in March so it will make a nice Birthday present.

I'm awaiting a Reflex 5H just like DirtyHippie. Don't know when it'll arrive, but it will be a great day when it does!

My dealer told me today that it's looking like Valentine's Day or a few days later, but regardless I'm getting close.

I've never liked candy on Valentine's Day, but I will take a Candy Red all Rosewood Stingray any day! This could be the best Valentine's Day ever.... ssshhh... don't tell my wife!

I emailed my dealer last week and was told that me bass is not painted and he will contact me with further details as soon as he has them. Waiting sucks, but the bass will be so worth it.

They are slowly trickling in and we had a few arrive this week. All of our orders for the rosewood neck with rosewood top and brown backs are running a little late, sometimes these things happen (no clue as to why, shrug). Hopefully I have a good update for you later this week!

Maybe is just that I don't know...but is the rosewood neck a regular option? can I order a Bongo 6 with a rosewood neck?
Thank you for your input.

No, solid Rosewood necks are not regular options for most instruments. During November last year EBMM opened a 1-month window to order any EBMM (sans Armada and Game Changer, IIRC) with a solid Rosewood neck, as they had done back in 2009.

First Post:
My Sweetwater rep told me that I should be getting mine this week, but I may have actually been the first person to order one. On November 1st I was ordering a white silhouette as a birthday present to me (Nov. 3rd), just after I finished placing the order I checked out the forums here for the first time and saw the brand new "Return of the Rosewood" post. I immediately called back Sweetwater and changed the order to a rosewood neck.

White Silhouette with a black pickguard (and hopefully white pickups) to go along with my beautiful Y2D. Now I am just waiting for them to do a "Return of the Roast" to get a matching roasted Silhouette.
