LUKE 1 FLOYD Direct Replacement Help!

SO I own a few music man luke 1's from the 90's. and so far I have found that my only option I have is to drill new holes and buy ernie balls new floyds(this is what I was told by customer service). What I am wondering if anyone of you guys know if it's possible or if any of you have done it, to get a direct drop in replacement. I did post about this in the past but didn't get any answers I was looking for. Some people are saying the 199t gotoh is to big by just a few mm. I'm curious if a floyd or schaller would work. I found this picture of a guy using a schaller floyd in his luke. Wonder if he had to drill new holes for different post. Anyone out there can help me out?!

As far as I know the Gotoh one is the only replacement that will do the job. I tried once by ordering a Gotoh replacement bridge, but as it turns out they made different sizes and the one I got didn't line up with the two posts properly. As it was the saddles that were causing the problem, I simply swapped the saddles from the replacement block onto the old one, and voila! 'All's well that ends well' (See what I did there...)
Anyway, that was an expensive solution but it's done.

May I ask, what is the problem you have with the existing bridge unit?

The guitar in the photo has a sustainer pickup fitted, and you can see that the owner was not afraid to drill holes for the two toggle switches. So I doubt they were afraid to drill for the bridge, if that was the only way.

I think we had a conversation about this in the past. Just out of curioucity what model again did you buy? Do they only have one model? I can only find the 1996t model.

With my unit, the trem arm wiggles when i use it, even though I have everything in the trem arm tightend. The knife edges are getting dull. The saddle on the bass side is rusted. Overall the tuning stability is not the best.

Would love to just get it completely replaced. Cheap and fast. but seems to be impossible.

Yes it was the 1996T. But obviously it was still the wrong one. The knife edges on my original are badly worn, but it actually still performs ok.
