That's a "Collectors" perspective , as is usual from Brett !!! This is not a guitar for a collector. Its worth exactly what a buyer is willing to pay to have and enjoy an EVH in their color of choice, without paying a huge premium for it, and not having to be paranoid about playing it because of its collectability value !!
For me ......... that was $2500 , which is about what I have into the guitar , for someone else , its for them to decide.

Looking at a original amber evh that has been refinished in trans pink. Any ideas on fair price for a refinished evh?

Would you ever be concerned that down the road someone that bought one of these from you might represent it as original to a newbie in say 10 years?
That's my only heartburn with color change refins. One day these things will command a more premium coin than they do now and I could see maybe someone unknowingly getting sold a refin conversion at a huge price.
