Has anyone found a way to touch up paint chips? I have a large one at the base of my Bongo 5HH, Desert Gold. I don't even know how/where it happened. No chips to be found anywhere. I will post a pic soon. It's like the paint never bonded to the wood. Fortunately it is on the back part of the bass.
I stopped by a few places with large nail polish selections - nothing that came close to matching.
I have even taken the bass to car lots to compare the finish to see which auto paint it might be. No match yet. One problem might be is the Desert Gold color seems to have an overspray that makes it bright gold in bright light but more the bronze in the regualr and less light situations.
