hello. date of birth for my black beauty, please? :)
serial number 8025772
thank you :)

The "8" is most likely a "B" in which case it should be a Pre-EB Bass dating to circa 1983 although serials are not necessarily in chronological order. Dates can be found on the neck heel and in the neck pocket on the body. Data on Pre-EB Basses was never kept.

Hi, could you info me on a sterling no 541201, thanks

Please double check this serial number. There should be either 5 digits, 5 digits preceded by a letter or 6 digits preceded by a letter. If this is a Sterling by Music Man instrument we won't have record of it.

August 24th, 1995

Can you tell me any relevant details about S/N: L58161

If possible:
- body/neck woods
- pickup (alnico or ceramic?)
- color
- wiring

May 6th, 1998, ceramic, trans red, maple/maple on the neck and either an alder or ash body

Awesome, thanks! Why do you say alder -or- ash? Do the records not show specifically what type of wood was used? I've read some threads here that suggest Alder was used on trans red up until about '98 but it seems mine was made around that transition time.

That is still not in our database :(

Can you tell me any info on a SUB, serial X06385?

February 11th, 2004... it's a passive model, sold to guitar center. These had poplar bodies, maple necks (painted black) and rosewood fretboards.

At the time your bass was made some were alder, some were ash. There is no indication in our database.

Hello could you please give me the date for s/n B056621 thanks in advance
