I just scored the blue Axis SS yesterday for a mere $675 out the door. It plays and sounds killer and is a great companion to my orange ASS. I'm thinking of putting a pair of humbuckers-sized P90's in it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A pawn shop near Cincinnati. They had it marked at $995, I can't believe that they sold it to me for that.

it sounded great really! you are not taking any risk in trying that, you need to replace 5 way switch with a 3 way one and cutting the Phat Cat ears to fit the Di Marzio is a bit a pain in the butt but I guess you will love the result
