Even the case identifier is cool on this one. Of course, I'll have to part with my Red EVH and possibly one other. This was from the Dallas Guitar Show last month. Luckily, they slashed the price & now it's mine!!!!!
Thanks guys. I literally just un-boxed it and now I have to leave town for work. Boooo It was full of fingerprints and has been on the UPS truck all day; so it was very hot. When I sprayed the Dunlop guitar polish on it, it actually had steam coming off of it. It needs a little truss rod adjustment. GC did exactly what I asked them NOT to do. They took the trem arm off & allowed it to move freely in the case. I specifically asked them to put it in the envelope with the case candy. I think they got lucky & no damage was done. I'll give it a better look when I return home. I plugged it in & played it for about 2 minutes. I really do want to compare it to the 25th(tone wise).
It is not wider at all same size as a standard ASS, just semi hollow very light and resonant, I played that guitar at the DIGF as well as a hard tail MM-90 natural with piezo both very nice, came close to bringing one home.
Thanks to all! It is super light. I was holding it in one hand and my all rosewood Ass in my other hand. The all rosewood felt like a LP all of a sudden. And Keith, thanks for breaking her in for me.
Awesome Kevin! you might be the first to pickup one of those semi-hollows...great color and I love the rosewood board...Im not sure how the case is but the side pockets are separated in my cases so hopefully no dings on your new axe....
Awwwwww yeahhhhhh! I like NGD threads around here, some more than others. This one I like a lot. Those semi-hollows are brilliantly done. Just when you thought they were done squeezing out the last bit of coolness factor in this guitar form, they go and do this…a whole new level of excellence executed to perfection. Very nice addition to your family Kevin.
