I'm looking into buying a Music Man Axis Sport, it's one of the hardtail models with a black scratchguard and what looks like an Amber/tele-ish Blonde finish. The serial is G00224. As much information about this guitar as possible would be helpful, including its street price at the time. I believe this is a fairly rare model so I can't find out a lot about it. Thanks to the guys at EBMM in advance, this is a wonderfully useful tool :D

Hi A.J - could you give me info on a Stingray 4, 36478, please? EQ, colour, DOB, shipped to etc? Do you also have original pickguard variant?

Many thanks, Don.

January 21st, 1993 Unfortunately there is no pickguard information for this model but it is a blueburst, 3 eq shipped to our UK distributor Strings & Things

Hi could you check on mine? It's E60037. Thanks!

Hello! I have a fretless Stingray w/ piezo I believe is from the 90's but I am not sure of the year exactly, the # is E12504, let me know please and thank you!

Looking for any info on a fretless stingray bass serial no. 8/B006134. Thanks much in advance!

Unfortunately our database doesn't reach back to the days when your bass was made. You could pull the neck and check the heel of the neck and the neck pocket for a date stamp.

I have a Stingray 5 lined fretless serial # e25851 could I get the year the bass was made?Thank you

The color says Gold, it was completed on January 6th, 1998. We shipped it to Strings & Things, our UK distributor.

Hi A.J. Thanks for the info so promptly. Could you confirm maple or rosewood fretboard please. Is it possible it's alder or poplar as the grain looks more like that on a trans red of the period?

Thanks very much, Don.
