I'm now officially busting at the seams with expectation! I can't believe how different the finish on each guitar looks. The JP that started this thread seemed to have a finished roasted maple fretboard (surely not) whilst I've seen another JP with a very pale maple board with no figuring and as the headstock was finished, this looked quite strange (not in a good way!).
Unfortunately this only exacerbates the emotions.
