Gentlemen,

I keep watching those fantastic Lukes, Jp's, Axis, Morse's in PDN 2014, Neptune Blue finish.

Albert Lee's seem to be so rare : I've only seen one for sale. (HH, black pickguard)
And there wasn't a picture of the "entire" guitar, just close ups!

Has someone information? Has production started? Would ANYONE have pictures???

The wait is just KILLING me. :(

I'm quite remiss ... I've had my SSS AL PDN for a week now. But I'm in the process of moving out while I reno the house (doubly fun with an infant and fussy 3 year old slowing it down ...), so I haven't been able to take pics yet.

But suffice it to say, it plays like a dream.

This reniewing houseSSS process is behind me now! I wish you luck and fun!!!

If you happen to have 5 extra-minutes... I'd be happy to see pictures.

(I've ordered an SSS trem white perloid pickguard)

Thanks for the reply.

May I suggest a transparent pickguard??? ;)

Wow Beej, flying under the radar with a new AL PDN eh? Big congrats! I went through a major renovation at my old house about 7-8 years ago and boy, it can take a lot out of ya…add the little ones and man…I feel your pain lol.

Here are some photos of mine. In regular light the finish is quite dark- in direct light you get the deep blue. The neck feels amaaaazing. I'm sold on roasted.

A white or vintage pearliod scratch plate would brighten that up considerably. ..
Gorgeous anyway.
Roasted necks rule.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I expected the finish to be lighter, so went with the black based on the earlier run. I have a loaded white pearloid p/g from another AL that would make an easy transplant.
