NEW EBMM "CRAFTED IN" LABEL posted to Facebook/Twitter Just a NEW LABEL or NEW MODEL?

Hey guys. So yesterday EBMM posted a pic to their Facebook/Twitter account with a new label on the back of the headstock (instead of the traditional "Made in San Luis Obispo California, USA" stamp, it reads "Crafted in San Luis Obispo California, USA" and has a pic of a bear and a star above it. Question is....is this a new label that's replacing the old one completely or does it represent a new line/model of guitars? THOUGHTS??? (I'm really excited for the reveal on this!) :D

Well, earlier this year, we were told that some new models would be revealed next year, so...

I would assume its some kind of new line. 'Crafted' rather than 'Made In' normally means it does not qualify for 'Made in the USA' as not all of it is made here.

If I had to guess its a new line, assembled and set up in the USA made from some overseas manufactured components.

But then again, I could be way off!

The headstock in the pic appears to be roasted so I wouldn't think we're looking at anything made overseas. I'd think too that the nod to the state of California would be something they're proud of, providing even more reassurance that this is something really special.

I wouldn't think that it's something made or assembled overseas...this is a brand-new label so it's gotta be something BIG. :D

DrKev - thanks for filling us in on the flag of California reference. I Googled it and learned something new today (I'm from Canada, so I didn't know what the bear and star meant). I think it's cool that they're adding even more "Cali" to the brand name (and I gotta say, it looks really darn cool! Looks like it's put on with a branding-iron!) :D

Whatever it is, I just can't wait to find out more. I would assume it's a bolt-on since it's a roasted maple neck (but you never know). ;)

The new logo has me thinking that instead of calling Sterling "BP" we should be calling him "PB".
He went from Big Poppa to Poppa Bear. :D
