EBMM recently posted new videos of THE MAN demoing his two signature models and both are less than three minutes long, so check'em out!

Here's a link to the "standard" model:

And here's a link to the Y2D model:

Anybody got the fever now?! :)

Thanks for posting. I have the fever, but saving up some funds for the big day. (meaning when I find THE ONE). :)

I've been meaning to find out - do you know why Steve has the glove on his right hand?

Check'em out - there's tons of variations on Morse guitars...

Standard vs. Y2D for pickup and switching configurations...

Body Material is generally poplar on the standard and poplar with maple cap on the Y2D, but there's African mahogany out there if you look hard, or rosewood cap on a few Y2Ds...

Neck Material of Maple, Roasted Maple or Rosewood...

Neck size is very consistent, except for the Dark Lord Y2Ds, which are bigger...

Fretboard is almost always rosewood, but there's a few maple out there if you look hard...

In short - probably have your preference covered!

As to the "glove", it's because after nearly 50 years of being one of the fastest pickers on the planet, Steve is "feeling the toll" in his right wrist. Wears the compression glove nearly full time, not just when he's playing.

Very cool and well made videos. (EDIT) My question concerning the glove was answered in a comment above. (/EDIT)

Very cool and well made videos. Can anybody explain to me why Steve is wearing that glove while playing?

He wasnlt supposed to wear it in the video. Ok secret's out...

It's a new line of products I'm launching, called "The DrKev Tone Glove (TM)". It has copper magnets knitted into the glove to a) keep the wrist warm, promoting smoother picking action, and b) the magnets increase blood flow and electrical nerve activity through the wrist, meaning more accuracy and less fatigue. Particularly useful for Carpal Tunnel sufferers.

..and if you'll believe that, I'll sell you a rock that will keep your house safe from stinging jellyfish.

Good time to post "old" (little more than a year ago) Morse videos to keep the mojo rolling? :)

These were done at Sweetwater in August 2014.

General interview that's pretty interesting:

Demo of "Standard" model:

Demo of "Y2D" model:

Gio,

You stated multiple Morses, but your siggy only lists one - update that sig so we know what you've got! :)

Kevin

So true Ive actually have traded and sold 2 les pals so far to get Y2D's

Once upon a time, LPs were my favorite guitars...

Still have several, since I consider it a mortal sin to sell a guitar - but am obviously over the moon on Morses now and haven't even picked around on any of my LPs in more than a year...

Either model Morse does absolutely everything an LP can do - plus pretty much everything a Strat or Tele can do too. At least in my (not so) humble opinion! :)
