Hi. Saw an Albert Lee HH BFR for sale and was wondering if anyone can tell what the diff is between a BFR Albert Lee HH and a normal Albert Lee HH.

The one I saw is in classic white finish and all rosewood neck.

The AL HH started out as a BFR (Ball Family Reserve), the BFR's are like specials. Once the AL HH took off, it became part of the regular production. Limited production runs tend to be BFR's.

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)

Thanks. So I'm assuming they use the African Mahogany bodies as well. Nice. Cheers.

They did. I have an AL HH, mine is a BFR part of the Black Sugar run. Roasted maple neck, ebony fret board. Love it.

That's really nice. I see in your signature you have an Albert Lee MM90s too. I bought one myself a couple of years back and it is one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played. Tone and feel is amazing so i'm looking for an HH model to compliment the MM90s Albert Lee.

Thanks again.

Yes, the Black Sugar was a great get when they had the run. I'm always keeping my eyes open for other models, but they don't come up to often. Yah love the AL MM90's and the HH, great guitars with totally different sounds for me.

Nice man, you won't be disappointed at all.
