I might want to buy a sterling bass. There is no serial number on the back. Under the bridge there is number 7528.
Is that a valid serial number ? Any D.O.B. ?

**Please note: We do not have any serial numbers for the Pre-Ernie Ball Music Man instruments in our database

sry,i've read it too late . . .so there's no way to get further information about my bass?exept disassembling neck and body. . .as told,i've already watched unofficial EB database website,is it possible to date to '78 ?
i bought it second hand about 20 years ago,and i dont know much more about it.old owner bought it in the early 80's if i remember correctly. . .
i'll check the date next time i'll take it to the luthier, cause last time i didn't know about pre EB sn troubles, and i forgot to ask
thank you so much anyway

Hi,

I'm about to get this StingRay 5 few hours from now. May I request for the information of this bass Serial code is 51041.

Thank you very much!!

This StingRay 5 was completed on January 22nd, 1990. The color is natural with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to Kanda Shokai Corporation.

I might want to buy a sterling bass. There is no serial number on the back. Under the bridge there is number 7528.

This serial number isn't coming up in our database, is there any chance it could be something else? If it's an American made Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling model, there should be at least 5 digits if the serial number is under the saddles on the bridge.

Unfortunately we don't have records for the pre Ernie Ball instruments. The only resource we are aware of is http://musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0052.htm. There should be a date stamp in the neck pocket and beneath the pickup as well.

Hi Sir
Could you please give me info of my Bongo 6 the serial number is F42565.
Thank's

This Bongo 6 HH was completed on April 3rd, 2014. The color is Sterling Silver with the all rosewood neck. It was originally shipped to The Perfect Bass.

How about E95367?

This one isn't coming up in our database, is there any chance it could be something different?

Hello,

I am considering to buy a vintage Stingray 5 in good condition, serial number 51223. Please let me know the manufacturing year and what do you think a fair price would be!
