This one is coming up as a Silhouette Special HSS. Is there any chance the serial number could be something different?

Shame about the fading - I saw the original purple under the tremolo itself, but still a lovely guitar.

Unfortunately we don't have the notes on which Music Box store it originally sold from, we just shipped to their main account.

Completed on May 17th, 2006. The color is mystic dream with the rosewood fretboard and matching headstock. It has DiMarzio custom wound pickups that are similar to the D-Sonic and Air Norton models.

This 25th Anniversary was completed on June 3rd, 2009. The official color name is Venetian Redburst. It was originally shipped to Mogar Music.

Hi !! Once again I just couldn't resist and bought another silhouette )! It is Gorgeus: yellow transparent ( this colour is a butterscotch I guess) , unbelievable maple neck, six bolts and serial is 91639. Could you tell me the DOB please , and as many deatails about this peace as it is possible.

This Silhouette Special SSS was completed on September 18th, 1991. Butterscotch with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to Musik Meyer.

This Axis Super Sport was completed on May 17th, 2001. The color is translucent blue with the maple neck and matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Casa Veerkamp.

A.j. are you sure abouth the pickups? From pictures i see online, the d-sonic style pickup has one row of hex bolts and 1 blade in the humbucker. But my guitar has 2 normal humbuckers, no blade. So is it possible the firt generation pickups where used in my guitar? (The custom jp humbucker set)

This JPX 7 was completed on November 30th, 2010. The color is black sugar with the roasted neck and ebony fretboard. It was originally shipped to Drum City Guitarland.

That's interesting that yours does not have the blade. Starting on May 26th, 2005 all JP6 models were shipped from the factory with a D-Sonic in the bridge (until June 26th, 2009 when we started using the LiquiFire & Crunch Lab). It's possible that it could have been switched out aftermarket.

This Silhouette was completed on December 8th, 2014. The color is white with the maple neck. It has 2 DiMarzio PAF PRO humbuckers and 1 DiMarzio custom wound single coil. The control function diagram can be downloaded here, Silhouette | Guitars | Ernie Ball Music Man.

The pickups on the botom say bhnp1 for neck and bhwp 2 for bridge. So they are original 1st generation jp pickups. They also look right to what ive seen online. The wiring looks 100% original too. It almost couldnt have been re-done this nice so i suspect the old pickups must have been used later on.... the original owner said he was the first owner and he never did anny mods to it. This is verry strange. Here's some pictures of the neck and neck pocket, do they look right to you? The neck seems legit but there is a strange colour on the body in the neck pocket...
