NGD: My wife IS better than your wife! Gold Top inside....
Well, I went to my local shop today to kill some time. Had no intentions of buying a guitar as personally, I have NO funds for that right now. BUT, I found one that I just fell in love with (and a model I've been lusting after for decades!) and knew I would do anything I could to acquire it. I tried to work out a deal with the shop and finally the only deal we could agree on was that they would take my 2 ALs in a straight up exchange. Sadness ensued, but I was willing.
So, I went home to chat with the the boss about the trade. I learned long ago to tell her about everything gear related - no secret purchases or trades! She asked me, "Do you want to get rid of those other 2 guitars?" I said "No". The she asked me how much it was, I told her and she said, "I'm tired of you having guitar regret. Just go buy it." I was shocked. I mean really really shocked! But I also know when NOT to look a gift horse in the mouth, so I did as directed by my wife, and bought a guitar I've been longing for for years.
. I'm going to name this one Kelly, after my wife. Sorry for the rotten pics, it's raining here today.
BTW, I suspect this thing has never been played. No scratches anywhere. No buckle rash of any kind. The trem bar is still sealed in original plastic. Case appears brand new. It LOOKS like a brand new guitar. It truly is in mint condition
