joel from the serial thread says the serial number coems up as an EVH that was completed on September 20th, 1995?????? :( :( could this be a fake?

It seems some of those earlier serials were reused (possibly when they moved to the neckplate engraved ones?). I recall that as well - the stamped serial number are supposed to the sequential production for that year, while the engraved neck plates are made up in advance and not necessarily used in order - plus the early plates didn't use a letter prefix like the current plates.

For the trem bar - maybe someone with one of these old ones can post a photo and/or specs for the arm so you can find a replacement that will work.
