I'll be surprised if we get any before the production run starts, but I can hope...

While I'm hoping... maybe the next test run could include a Morse/Y2D - then they wouldn't have to worry about it selling, cause... I know a guy! :)

I'm SERIOUSLY considering an AL HH; but without pictures with and without the matching headstock, I'm quite weary. I can't tell just how dark the finish is; as it looks on the two available pictures, it seems a little too light for me. If it's a little darker, I think it'd look amazing on an AL with a grey pearl pickguard like mine...

I keep going back and forth on this ...

The guitar I could justify buying would be a Majesty, but I really like the roasted maple neck and headstock look and the Majesty will not come with that. Seeing what one would look like might excite me in a different way and push me over the edge.

I think a Silhouette with black pickguard would look great in this finish, but I have too many Silos to justify buying another.

If I can see a sample of the matte color the majesty would come in, I'd decide pretty quickly between a cutlass or a majesty :)
... I know, completely different machines. I want the majesty, but hard to pull trigger without knowing how a matte sparkle looks...

agt & GWDavis28,

I've read your posts a few times and still not making sense to me...

Don't you know the strength of THE HERD is in it's numbers? When the buffalo are migrating - hoofs pounding making a joyous noise unto the lord - and they go by another buffalo just standing there eating grass, does anybody ever think, "Oh no, can't add one to THE HERD, we have enough already"?

HELL NO! That buffalo jumps in - then the thunder becomes slightly louder and THE HERD becomes stronger.

Now get those guitars ordered, gentlemen - it is the way of nature. :)

Funny Kev BUT... I just can't stop watching those AL as if didn't have enough...

Problem is : before joining MM army, when I bought a guitar and said "It's the last one." I truly believed it.

Now, I know there will be others... Just the same but with different colours, woods...

I can't justify buying more but can't help it either.

I'm not sure I truly appreciate this addiction.

My wallet doesn't.

Jason, yah the wallet is bone dry, and I've been where you are, but now my priorities have changed. Unfortunately, there are other things that are more important, like the cars in the shop, that's gonna be just under a grand.

Kevin, if you suck and can barely play, it's hard to justify the expense. For instance I currently have 5 guitars, I'd love to have something in this run, but the funds aren't there (like they use to be). I've thought about selling to get, which for me is a way to make it happen. However, 2 of my guitars were presents from the family, can't sell those and I really love the others. So, at this time, I'm stuck. Though I am playing the lottery left and right. And in the past I've said the same and made purchase at the 11th hour, hahaha, Dargie 1, Black Sugar, 20th Silo.

Just trying to be amusing guys - hope I accomplished it - but certainly understand everybody's life situations are different.

Glenn - by the way, I suck at playing! :)

Kevin, all in good fun man, I got it. Glad to hear it's not juts me. :D

I'm sure I'll be keeping my eyes open in the future for either NOS or used in this PDN run.

LOL, Kevin!

There are some guitars you need and others you just want. I really want one of these ...

The other guitar I am trying to justify in my mind is an Axis because I don't have enough Floyds in my herd. Again, I am left trying to imagine how the cream binding and cream humbucker coils would complement the starry night finish. They might look fantastic together. Anyone proficient at Photoshop?

But really, at 51 years of age, I have finally found "my" guitar and it is the Majesty.

Dang... you're *old* - I don't turn 51 until next month! :)

I found my guitar a couple years ago - which is a Morse Y2D with the "add bridge" toggle added from a Standard Morse configuration. I have to "roll my own" to get that - but what EBMM makes is *so* close that it's an easy mod.

You should definitely jump on this train - they VERY rarely come around again you know...

No matter how much we plead with BP for a re-run, the EBMM team insists on dazzling us with new designs instead! :)

I hear you on this. I remember people not getting on board for the Black Sugar run and regretting it. But there is still 12 days left to order.

Apparently I have too much free time. Here is my weak attempt at trying to visualize an Axis in this finish.

* This is a mock up and not official! *

I am not a Photoshop person; I used Paint and repeatedly pasted the same pixels for the most part, so I did not capture the burst aspect where it would be darker along the edges. It also has an L3 neck! But it somewhat conveys how it would look. I like it.
