Is there a reason why EBMM cases are designed with the body on the right forcing the logo to be upside down when you open the case? Makes no difference to me, but since I'm wasting time surfing the web, I figured I'd ask if there was a technical reason behind it. :p

I'd guess because most people are Right Handed, and that way you just Pull it straight out, without having to rotate it again before playing, If that makes sense...

Okay, I'm assuming this thread is serious, and you're not a troll...

Answer: because that's how the guitar is oriented when you play it... so you just grab it and it's already at the right position.

I suppose this is your first guitar, because every guitar/bass case IN THE WORLD is designed like that.

No need to get snippy. I think my post count, membership status and number of EBMMs I've owned gives me the right to have a little fun every now and then.

Threads like this make me understand why this forum is mocked in other forums.

Hey look...I'm going to try not to make this worse, but look at it from my perspective. I asked an honest question about something that I suspect many of us have never thoght about. I even mentioned it might be a dumb question right in the title. I missed the obvious answer (mainly because there are lefty players out there) but I got my answer in the first response. You, who are new to the forum, then felt compelled to come back with a condescending response. You didn't consider the fact that many of us have been here for years, some of us know each other personally from EBMM events, and we like to have a little fun sometimes. It doesn't have to be all serious business, all the time.

If that makes us mockworthy, so be it. I'm all in. Stick around and get to know us - you may actually find you like it here.

Unlike a lot of other forums, we're actually civil to one another here. Passive aggressive and rude posters don't usually last very long.

LOL - Hey Koogs! Yes, it has been a while! Good to see you're still around here. I had never thought about it either until someone posted a pic that they had taken from behind the case and the logo was right-side up. Got me thinking... :D

I don't know MikeVt personally, but I feel like I "know" him and so many other members here who are generous with their help, friendly, passionate about EBMMs, and, yes, occasionally humorous. Wonderful community. :)
