Yes I know the awnser to that one!! I hope I don't confuse it cause I am good at that. So the strait pole on the D-Sonic is the brighter side of the humbucker, so JP puts it closer to the neck to keep it warmer when playing. But on the 7 string the sound was a bit too muddy on the low string so they put the solid pole closer to the bridge.
Correct me if I am wrong.

This is pretty much what DiMarzio state on their website... You got it right I think. ;)

DAMN ERNIE, I must admit I read this threa from back to front and just realized the pics on the first page. OH MY GOOD LORD OF OUR HOLY MOTHER !!!
...WHAT A COLLECTION !

*speechless*

If that's what he has with a 1000 posts, can you imagine the collection when he has 2000 posts!?!?!
He'll need to rent a convention centre to take pics of them all at the same time. Not to mention take the day off and hire 3 people to help him. :p;)

It will take me another 5 years to get to 2,000. The collection can't realy grow that much anymore. I only need 4 of the discontinued finishes, two BFR's and black.

Incredible collection.

He's already collected EVHs. But then switched when the Pets came.
He doesn't strike me as the Albert Lee type either.

I sincerely hope your income justifies owning all of those. Unless you earn an extremely healthy salary or have had some kind of monetery windfall then this is just ridiculous.

The majority of people would be happy to afford for one of those while still balancing their other expenses.

I understand building a collection of few favorite colors or models - but that collection - while amazing to look at is complete overkill.

Thank you. Some people just can't get over the fact that other people like to buy things. Obviously his income justifies those. He has the right to property, unless you're a communist or something, I'd be happy for someone like that. Good for you, Ernie, for giving BP some new shoes with all those 'Balls.
