As I type this there are 9 members and 119 guests. I wish some of those folks would become members, take part, and help to make this forum even stronger:D

Think of it like reality TV. There are a few people on the show with a much larger group of people watching them for entertainment.

Yeah, well, on reality tv shows most of the people watching don't have the oportunity to be part of the show... Here lurkers can become members. :)

Giving away strings doesn't seem to pull them in. Thinking about moving up to giving away basses. Probably wouldn't work too well on this side of the fence. ;)

I know I "lurked" for about a month when I was researching buying a JP. I had a little fear of posting and not being accepted, but I think that is natural.

If I remember correctly (it's been a year and a half) my first post was the day I bought my JP6 and my second was a week later when UPS arrived. I was immediately innundated with requests for Pics of my new guitar. A lot of those people are still on this forum - pretty amazing.

No one here bites. I've seen a few people who stir up sh*t, or bash people, but they don't last long - I think they are quietly asked to post elsewhere. ;)
