What happened? I started as a lark posting here and it has been like life.....pain pleasure joy heartache....My dad passed away during the time. we came up with some new stuff...had some great partys and I met a lot of truly fun and interesting people.

I think that I figured out how to stay out of hot water that only took me about 11,000 posts!

As a gift to me....dont pm me and dont post custo......you know the rest!

Happy 12000th, BP. Thanks for providing this great place to hang, and for all the inside perspective and advance looks you give us. Great case in point, the 25th R&D. I personally haven't ever witnessed the unfolding of a bass/guitar project like that. Extremely cool. I've only been hanging around here a little over a year - looking forward to a lot more, and to meeting you and some of my fellow knuckleheads some day.

Cheers!

There's been some wisdom passed out in a few of those posts, too.

Thanks, BP. You truly are one in a million.

It has been fun. I remember quite well the first 'BP' posts. You scared the living bejeezus outta me! Funny, now. And we both lost loved ones along the way, we did, but we also intertwined our families, too. And so they grew.

But you certainly have NOT figured out that 'hot water' thing!

I'm typing one-handed here which is slow and painful....so let me stop.

But my boy has always adored you, and he has no idea about your 'public' personality...but he knows your heart.

And I trust him.

Thanks for everything you have given us.

This forum is part of my life. I check in here on my bass family every day to see what's going on.

This forum is what got me my first EBMM and I have been happy ever since. I look forward to more joy with a 25th Anniversary model bass some day.

EBMM keeps the want alive!

Thanks,

-- Ant

Funny and also great how much this place has grown. Congrats on 12K and with many many more to come.

The "hot water" thing...well...you have kept me out of it plenty of times! You know why.

Have a great day Pops!

Congrats on 12000!! I've certainly picked up a few pearls of wisdom from you BP. One day I hope to be able to interview you for PUNK magazine. The way you do business has also been an inspiration to me.

Keep Rockin big guy!

Hey hey!! Happy 12'000th post day!

You kicked me in the nuts a few times but I won't hold it against ya, you've got to do what you've got to do. And as they say in France you can't make an omelette without cracking some eggs, (sorry eggman) :D

We still read you in awe, keep it up

Pour yourself a nice drink! You deserve it!!

Thank you very much, Sir. Riding along on your ship is as much fun as it is interesting and educating. Personally, I learned a couple of important things here (from you!) that changed my musical life and made me a better musicians.

I first came here in 2005, had been playing the Bongo for the better part of a year, and this place is just like the basses: Awesome! Met good friends here too, from both sides of the pond, can't imagine being without MM basses or this place!

BP, congrats on this place, I put the rest in a PM for ya
