Hi all

Firstly let me congratulate you all on a fully decent forum. Reading through all of the threads has really helped me make the decision to buy my first musicman. After long deliberation I have decided to go for the classic JP6 in mystic dream with matching headstock, piezo and dot inlays. Trying to shop for musicman guitars in England is not easy! Anyway, now I have to wait for 16 - 20 weeks before it arrives. Literally can't wait!

So I just wanted to introduce myself and mention what a fantastic forum this is. The level of expertise and knowledge is admirable and I imagine that I will be spending a fair bit of time on here killing time whilst awaiting the arrival of my guitar.

I got the impression that photographs go down well so I have taken a couple of my rig:

Mark V
Recto Cab
TC G system
Dunlop 535Q wah
Boss volume pedal
PRS custom 24 (20th anniversary model)
62 reissue stratocaster

If anyone is using their petrucci with a mark V and a G system let me know as we can perhaps trade patches & chat etc. I would also welcome any advice on how people would run the piezo through this set up. I was thinking about buying a fishman aura and going through the Mark V. Or would it be worth buying a small acoustic amp for the money?

Cheers

Matt

Welcome Matt!

Beautiful rig - love that grill cloth. :)

Excellent choice on the JP - the original model is my favorite. The wait..................will be excruciating. Sorry. :(

yea, we're spoiled over here in the U.S. Oh wait, aren't they made here ;)

Well congrats. It's NO surprise to me you go looking at a bunch of EBMMs and choose the JP6. It's my favorite!

Hi Matt - welcome! I only have to wait 4 or 5 days for mine and it's killing me (the excitement builds each day wondering if I'll get the call that it's in). I can't imagine having to wait after ordering one...yikes! Hang in there.
