Is a 1979 Sabre preamp compatible with a 90s stingray pup?? If so would any changes need to be made ?? Thx

Electronically, it should work ok. But can you give more details. Are you adding the preamp to a 90s Sting Ray Bass or adding the 90s pup to the Sabre Bass? If the latter, you'll need to re-rout the pup cavity as the Sting Ray pup is physically larger.
Also, do you have a pic of the preamp.
