I've decided to record one of my favourite solos using my trusty 1989 Silhouette and Scuffham S-Gear 2. Few months ago I had a chance to purchase this amazing instrument (my first MM), and I'm very pleased to be a proud owner of this baby. It has some dings, and the color is more greenish than blueburst, but hey, it's almost 25 years old
At first it didn't stay in tune very well (and yup - it's a vintage schaller trem with micro-tuners), so I've decided to install Schaller M6 locking machine heads and take off the "top lock"). Now I can do almost everything, that I do with floyd rose equipped guitars, without all the downsides.
