Help! 1990's Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Bass Not showing up in the serial finder!

Hi guys. I have a 1990's Music Man Stingray Bass. I've been trying to sell it, but I realized it is not showing up in the database. Is it possible it is a fake?? Or is there a reason it may not be showing up. Thank you.
