I'm putting this on Ebay this weekend. Just wanted to let everyone around here know about it first. I'll sell for $850 shipped to the lower 48 if anyone's interested. This includes a molded hardshell case. The color is "trans teal" but mine is darker than any I've ever seen. This bass sounds REALLY good and is strung with DR "Bootzillas" that still have a lot of life left in them. I really don't want to let it go... but I've been bitten by the Bongo bug and one of my Rays has to go.

The bass has awesome birdseye on the neck and the foam mutes are in great shape.

check out this page for more pics: 1991 Stingray

NOTE: This bass will ship out with the original BLACK pickguard. Not the pearloid one pictured.

Don't know that I can do it just right now but if it don't go to ebay I might purchase it. At this moment I gotta talk to the boss and she if she thinks I can do that. I will let you know ASAP.

Jon....not in the market for a 'Ray at the moment ( just got one and can't stretch my luck with you-know-who ;) ) but a few Qs:

* is it 32547?

* looks like a laquered neck?

* does the neck have a narrow profile (like the current 'Rays) or more chunkier at the back like the D shape necks on the Fenders?

Edit: Got the right Bass....just made out the serial on the bridge.

.

Hey I'm sorry to hear that. Would have been nice to keep this little baby in the local area.

looks really clean ... hopefully soemone here snaps it up

It's quite clean. The guy who owned it before me played in a cover band and gigged on it quite a bit, I think... it has a few little dings that reflect it was being used and some light scratching on the back like a belt was getting to it but I used this as my main backup and it has been babied since I've had it.
