Question 1994 Albert Lee - Conductive Shielding Paint Inside?

Short Question: Does anybody know if the darker paint inside my 1994 Albert Lee (without Silent Circuit!) is a Conductive Shielding Paint (picture below)?

Yes, I could open and measure it, but it would be easier if someone here just knows it and just types "yes" or "no"!

Reason: I´ve shielded a Non-EBMM guitar yesterday with adhesive copper foil and it worked great. So I thought about doing it with the AL too but can´t remeber if it´s shielded or not. It has hum but not very much, so I think it´s possible that it is shielded already.

Really?? I can grab a multi-meter and test as fast as I can open a MacBook and type response. More fun too, IMO. Any excuse to get the tools/toys out!

Even if it is shielded already, remember that pickups are poking up through the shielding of the pickguard. There is only so much hum that can be reduced and some that we'll just have to put up with.

Does anybody know what year the silent circuit was introduced? I guess it was after 1996, right?

Doing it is just a matter of time... family, 2 kids, work.... and: Restringing is not one of my favourite activities as this old AL has no Locking Tuners...
If no one knows the answer here i WILL do it

You´re right, pickups are poking up through the pickguard. I saw a pic in the web where someone shielded and grounded the inside of the pickup covers... Not that I plan to do that. I just wonder what the result would be - if it would bring a significant improvement?!?

Pretty sure it's shielded (though ask CS to be sure).

I've done a few upgrades to my '94- locking tuners, silent circuit, and a set of Bill Lawrence Microcoils (real singles, not noise-free). It's damn near silent.

I'll check it next string change. But I do not need to hurry, because it will probably already be shielded.
