Hello, I am interested in buying this 1995 Sterling bass, but I'm not sure if it is priced right. It is 1000 shipped (buy it now) on ebay. It seems to be a rare bass so I haven't been able to compare the price of it to another one selling. Does anybody know if it is a good price or not? Also, any info on the bass would be helpful.

Thanks,
Stone

Just took a look at the Ebay auction.

I'm a big fan of the instruments from that era. This one looks very nice. Yes, it appears to have a few nicks but nothing too bad for a bass that's almost 20 years old. I would however ask for a photo of the rear of the bass to make sure there aren't any unpleasant surprises.

I would also run the serial number by EB Customer Service who will be able to tell you not just the DOB but also the instrument's original appointments such as finish, body wood, maple or rosewood neck, and where it was shipped to.

Ya I actually asked the seller for pics of the back and there are no dings or anything.

Gots moots, and cool finish, worth a bit extra,
like $75 or $100 ... not to mention that case !
