For those that have been following along in the last couple threads on this project over the last couple years I have finally complete the restoration of this nearly 25 year old workhorse and it has new life for a good long time. Butterscotch metal flake by GuitarPaintGuys , complete rewiring with EBMM parts, original Axis pickups, fret board sand and level which allowed me a correction for the previous minimal range of relief adjustment, complete refret and level and crown, new nut, new ferrules, knobs and switch tip. Plays amazingly well. It is impossible to capture the depth and sparkle of this finish. As much as I groused about the painters they really do very good work at reasonable prices. But there is always a different price to pay I guess.

Axis Sport New Paint Day
Just thought I'd tease this one out there. Should deliver to me Friday. I'm expecting it to be a great improvement over the original and first attempt refinishing. Pics look promising in Butterscotch Metalflake.
