Just wanted to say thank you to all who supported me and my family this time 1 year ago, when my little Tom was running out of time to receive a liver transplant. Its one year to the day that he got the liver, the youngest recipient in Australia at 6 months old, and what a year its been, it was the best christmas present of all time- our boy's life was saved. I will never forget the generous and kind wishes of support from all you guys, tremendous stuff. It was such a long time feeling miserable for all those months stuck in hospital, but every day I would log onto the forum at the hospital and feel a bit better, it made many a day. Its been so nice to live a normal life this year and do all normal things, this week Tom and I are on the cover of our local paper too, so nice of people to care. Organ donation is so important. Hooray to everyone and have a great Christmas!!!!!!!

You'll be happy to know when I got my license in the U.S. and they said, "Organ donor?" I thought of this and proudly signed my name. I think organ donation and blood donation are simply 10000000000x as important as any other donation. EVery chance I get. Best wishes, and a happy holiday Tom, Rob, and family!

I was pretty new and didn't post much, but my wife and I followed the progress and said some prayers. Those first pictures of Tom smiling are still fresh in my mind. He looked so happy it was overwhelming. :)

Rob, hearing the good news about your son last year was a great Christmas present for me and my family as well. I know we never met in person and perhaps never will, but I really felt heartbroken over you having to suffer watching him over those months. I was so happy to hear that he recovered and is continuing to do well. I pray God continues to bless you and your family.

All good Rob, The love from a parent to a child isn't measureable, however neither is the stress that goes with it !

All the best to you, Tom and Belinda,

Merry Christmas.

It was a heart-wrenching time Rob - My wife & I were glued to your family's story.

You guys had (and still have) the whole world rootin' for you.

It's so good to see the updates of Tom and his progress. He really is a little miracle.

Dizz.
