Hey all, Just recently picked up a mint 25th anniversary, WOW! What a well made instrument. Mine has the birdseye maple fingerboard and is stunning to look at, not a scratch or flaw to be found.Funny 'cause I am a short scale mahogony dual humbucker guy so I never gave these a look before. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship is outstanding. Over the years I have owned most everything out there and this is right up with the best of them. Hats off to the Ball family for such fine work..........Rick

Thanks guys, it really is a fantastic guitar. I compared it side by side with a Fender custom shop tele and a Gibson custom shop es 137, it was no contest. I don't have a camera right now, hopefully I'll get some pic's taken this week. Ozzyrules, I got it from a local store here in MA that had bought an entire collection at an estate sale. In the collection were Gibson and Fender custom shops along with a lot of other nice guitars. I handled every guitar in the bunch and this stood head and shoulders above the rest.......Rick

Rick,

You have great taste. I did the same thing a year and a half ago. I was looking for my 1st high end guitar. I was looking at a PRS and an Ibanez js1000. There was a 25th hanging up and I played it after the other 2 aforementioned. Hands down, the 25th killed the other 2. I now own 6 EBMM's. I sold my other 2 great guitars and never looked back. Be very careful, these things will break your bank account!!!!

I can see that happening, already my brain is thinkin "a Luke with a rosewood neck and ebony board would be the ticket".

Congrats and welcome! The 25th/Reflex is a phenomenal guitar. May you play it lots and may it serve you well.

Already thinking about EBMM #2, huh? Don't worry, it's perfectly normal. Pretty soon you'll have several. :D

I was the same way-
I was looking for my first high end guitar and was looking at all the big guns... EBMM was the winner and I got my 20th anniversary silhouette. 2 weeks later I had a silhouette standard...
Sold it to buy an acoustic that I needed
Just got my dream EBMM a silhouette special... It's been such an incredible guitar. I can't stop playing it.

You'll find EBMM guitars are amongst the finest instruments you'll ever play. I would love to own more but all in good time
