1st Post SR5 Nut ?

<div class="bbWrapper">Hey Y&#039;all<br /> <br /> I noticed the spacing on the nut of my SR5 is off. The space between the D &amp; E strings is noticably wider. It is causing the G string to be to close to the edge.. So I am thinking of having a new nut installed. Any recomendations?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I have often wondered if this is a legitimate problem as well. My SR4 nut seems to be cut incorrectly as well. My E string is much closer to the top edge of the neck than the G is to the bottom. Either that or my neck or bridge were not put on inline with the nut. Noentheless, it is playable, but it just seems a little awkward. My Sterling is dead straight.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Someone from EB tech recomended I loosen the neck bolts and pull up (towards me from the playing position). That helped, but that G string has less that 1/8&quot; plastic on the outside.
