I was in town yesterday on a Xmas "doo" and popped into Gamlins music store.
I know the salesman in there and asked why he didn't stock EB guitars.
He said that they fell out with S & T a few years ago (didn't say why - and it's nothing to do with me!).
Anyway he pointed me in the direction of 2 axis guitars (NOS) one was red nice top, the top certainly didn't suck , matching headstock, hardtail - lovely maple board and lovely, lovely looking neck. - fantastic price !!!
The other was also NOS, a solid purple colour, hardtail, natutral headstock, rosewood board, plain neck - this one is a steal for the price they want.
Due to forum rules I cannot post the price.
My mate took photos which I'll post later.
Give them a ring - you oughta!!! ( ask for "Em" and tell him Spud told you about them on the EB forum)
