Sometimes - especially on old Fenders and sometimes on Bad-Ass bridges - I found there were the tiniest little burrs on the saddles. Constant pressure against them made the strings break at the bridge.
For the longest time, I thought it was me. A magnifiying glass and a little piece of good sandpaper really cleared things up for me.
