For the longest time, I thought it was me. A magnifiying glass and a little piece of good sandpaper really cleared things up for me.


Actually I used to face this problem with my StingRay.

The G string saddle was eating the string so it always broke at tat point. It seems now that after a few string changes, the saddle became leaner.
