Honestly, I prefer the standard JP6 that Wilcutts have. The top on that BFR is stunning (Mother Nature is awesome) but just too OTT for my taste. Call me "Mr picky"!

I don't really like the maple fretboard color in contrast with the body in most of the shots I've seen so far, I feel like it would have worked aesthetically a bit better with unroasted maple. That being said, I think it'll look amazing with a rosewood fretboard instead and the roasted neck on the back only.

I kinda agree.. That's one of the reasons that I ordered a standard Morse instead of a Y2D. Still would love a nice MM Neptune blue flame top though...

Im sure you saw that sweet water has some with the RW fretboards. I just wish we could see a pic!!

BFR looks awesome especially with that roasted fretboard, I guess to each their own and the regular JP looks great glad I jumped in on this offering. Mine is a long way out so I will enjoy the sightings and NGD of others

This is what I hate about music man. I mean I have a couple really nice mm guitars. I have a house payment, car payment, bills, blah blah. Seeing these extra fancy cool guitars just makes me sick. I'm always saving for another pdn or somthing older or whatever, it just takes sooooo long for me to save. Too many hot looking guitars! I sit and wait for another ngd....

Is this "neptune blue with flame maple top, roasted maple neck w/ maple fingerboard"? I assume it is, but you know what happens to people who ASSuME…

Anyone know the neck radius specs for this? My guess would be 15", but want to know.

So far, I've only seen this guitar offered on Sweetwater (w/ no pics, as previously stated).
