You guys are doing great on all the websites for your products, and I especially love the Build An Instrument feature on the Music Man website, but I was wondering when/if the 2 Pickup models are going to become on option to Build on your instrument?

It's not a life or death matter, I'm just curious, I know it must take a long time to photograph all those different combinations.

Thanks a lot!

The factory has outstripped the ability of the webmaster to keep up!

First the Bongos, now the dual pickup basses, what's a webmaster to do?

I bet it does take a long time to get all those photos done correctly.

Glad it's not my job!

Don't forget the instrument builder needs the SUB guitars and basses and the Morse Y2D as well!

Although the SUBs shouldn't be too bad since there are somewhat less options (although still plenty of variety).

Yeah, they were planning a rehaul before NAMM and the new 2 pickup models. Then, EBMM was offering 30K combinations. Now, with a 20K+ bump, I don't expect to see it anytime soon! No hard feelings, though - this thing will certainly take time!

It will be a huge job, and it will be done, but the company is really going to be busy making guitars...Imagine that. Be patient. You guys know that a lot of $ and work was invested on the new server.(remember how slow it was with the battle of the bands).

The website will be updated in time. But we need to make guitars and basses.

Maybe BP will see this and give us his input on this.

:D Naw...We have Dudley....I swear he exists. I have seen him.

If you can't get him to come here and fess up. Please take a big digital photo and post is here.

I wanna know Dudley if I ever see him. I want to thank Dudley as I would very much like to.

In the same matter I would like a recent picture of you my friend.

Hey BP how about a show off my employee forum and you just post pictures of the whole crew that builds these basses ( and guitars) we all love?

I would like to put a face to a name any time I can.

I would like to shake hands with and hug every employee you have.

I do hug my bass. It is special and anyone that had a hand in building it well I just want to see them and a chance to say Thank You to them

Wouldn't be the gig I am going to miss next month, but it would be something

Now you've "threatened" to HUG the fine people who build your guitars/basses, I have a feeling those pictures will no longer be forthcoming :p

Hey kids

we know that we need to update the web page for mm. we also think that along with this forum all relevant info is avail.

WE are swamped in the web dept.......I posted an answer to this last week but we are just making 14 new guitars and basses, producing a world class open house, running the largest battle of the bands in the history of the biz hosting a website with over 21000 mp3s of unsigned music featuring over 2.5 million downloads., building new corporate headquarters, running the Scion tour (Check the website for that it is pretty cool,) running the mobile stage on the warped tour doing sound for 16 bands a day, building a new mobile stage for next year.... That is just the highlights.

A manufacturer in the UK has developed a build-your-own "Smart bass" webpage, which has avoided the requirement for individual photos of each bass. The parts appear on the bass individually as you select them, once you've selected the body wood. You can change parts from pull down menus and there's a running total of the cost at the bottom of the page. The only thing missing is an idea of what the instrument may sound like...

I agree with BP here.. there's no substitute for *actual photos* of those beautiful EBMM colors! The instrument builder is worth waiting for.. I especially like the ability to find a dealer with the guitar you've built 'in stock'.

Wow, EBMM! You guys have a lot of irons in the fire! I think if you did *one* band-aid to the Music Man site.. you probably ought to get a mention/spec/link concerning the Morse Y2D on the 'instruments' page. I'm not talking about the builder, just the normal 'brochure-ware' part.

Other than that, I agree that all of the pertinent info is available between the various EB sites.
