I read in the last few posts on the 2PU wirings sticky that stingray's bridge pup's are wired in paralell, and sterlings pup's are wired in series
That information came from someone inside Ernie Ball, i just want to know if that's true and if SR5's are also wired in series at the bridge?
This is only on 2 PUP basses for your info.

I'll chime in but I don't know about the SR5HH, sorry. The Sterling HH is definitely wired so all switch positions are in series only and the Stingray HH is wired so all are in parallel. At least mine are!

Thanks, so if you solo the bridge pup on a stingray it sounds in paralell and if you solo the bridge pup on a sterling it sounds in series, right?

Yes, with the switch on an HH Stingray back towards the bridge it'll sound just like a classic single H Stingray.

With the switch on an HH Sterling back towards the bridge, it'll sound just like a classic single H Sterling with it's 3 way switch pointed towards the neck.

Since the sterling and the sr5 share the same electronics and ceramic pickup i guess this is also the case on a sr5 HH.
Could it be possible for me to rewire the pickups on a HH sr5 to make them sound paralell?

You could, but there are a number of problems:

#1 doing that will void your warranty
#2 you'll definitely need a different switch and it's not a common one
#3 you'll probably need to rewire the pickups at the coils

I really like the sound of my HH Sterling personally.

Thanks but i already did rewire the bass last night, and the only difference is that positions 2 and 4 are inverted but since 90% of the time i'm playing the solo bridge position i don't care about that, and since this bass is a keeper i don't care about warranty issues, what i do care it's that the bridge PUP now sounds just the way i like it and i love my SR5 HH more than ever.
Thanks for your help bdgotoh.
