20 Balls at GC in Atlanta

I dropped into the GC off of I-85 and to my surprise 20 balls lined up together. I think they had just about every model. Very nice selection and color choices.

The guy I talked to pointed at the les pauls next to them. I have a les paul so I am not a hater, but did point out that in my opinion, the balls would blow the LP away in fit and finish and set up out of the box. Plus they wont kill your back.

The North Dallas store had around 16 including 3 very nice Silos but one was mispriced and they had no clue how to check for the normal price, might have bought it but they really did not show any interest in finding out the actual price or working a deal, oh well but the Walnut Burst JP was awesome looking.

whenever someone from Australia tells me they're going to the States to visit, the words "must visit GC" always comes up. You guy's don't know how lucky you are...

Ya that guitar center is really amazing! Happen to know a few guys there so I'm able to get some good deals and constantly try to bug them to get more EB's.

LUCKY! There's never any EBMM guitars in GCs in the Pennsylvania or New Jersey! They always have the basses, but very rarely the guitars. The one near me had a Rosewood ASS before, which was the first ball I've ever played, and it kicked...ASS! The other time they had an ASS with MM90's which was also very nice. The Guitar Center in Cherry Hill which is somewhat close has a Honey Burst ASS, which is a stunning instrument, but it was missing the high E string. I came back there a couple months later, and they had the same one, still missing the string, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. I must say that all the guitars I've played there were very poorly set up. Bridges raised too high, strings buzzing and/or out of tune, etc., but they actually have some really nice stuff there. Great selection of amps especially. Now I'm done

On a side note, I finally got a chance to crank a Mesa Dual Recto at GC today, and I couldn't believe how amazing it sounded. I've played them before, but I could never get a good setting and I was afraid to crank it. But it didn't matter today, because I found a setting I really liked, and a bunch of kids my age were cranking the Line 6's with Epiphones and playing songs from Guitar Hero, so I didn't stick out too much. I just played some Dream Theater, Rush, and other riffs, and practiced some lead playing which I've really been trying to work on lately.

I feel like I'm being mean today...oh well.

I'm just a 14 year old without balls, and I do feel awesome when I crank a JP onto a Mesa amp. I do get annoyed but the Line 6 bit, and I play DT, Rush, LTE, other stuff whenever I'm playing a ball.
But we don't have a GC in Canada, just a music store where a guy gets annoyed cause he always recognizes me grabbing balls.

But not too young to make money!
When I was under 16 I saved up quite a bit, mostly from babysitting. Try putting an ad out in a newspaper or talking with family friends with small children. You'll be amazed at how much parents will pay for some freedom. They usually tip very well too!

Yeah, I really do love GC too!! I have 10 near my house (Oak/SF Bay Area). I'm "never" bored!!

Ah...yet another battle of posts saying, "Wow! We have a ton of EBMMs at our local GC!" and posts saying, "Our GC has basses and no guitars. I wish we had more guitars at our GC."

Okay. I'll join in. Our GCs have no guitars here in the Detroit area. Okay, maybe, there might still be one at the Canton store, but I doubt it. That was a long time ago--over a year.
